President of Uzbekistan to attend summits in Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — President  of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay working visits to Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan to participate in international summits from 11 to 13 November.

At the invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the President will attend an extraordinary Arab-Islamic summit on 11 November. This summit will address the escalating situation in Gaza and Lebanon and discuss measures for a prompt resolution of the Middle East conflict.

From 12 to 13 November, at the invitation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the Uzbek leader will participate in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).

President Mirziyoyev is expected to deliver speeches at both summits and hold meetings with foreign leaders and heads of international organizations.
