Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan's futsal team began its European tour with a win over Hungary, the Uzbekistan Futsal Federation said.
In the first international friendly match, held on 17 September in the Hungarian city of Budaörs, the Uzbek futsal players won 1-0.
Ilkhomjon Khamroev scored the only goal of the match in the 11th minute.
Uzbekistan held a noticeable advantage throughout the match, attacking more often and creating more dangerous chances at the opponent's goal. That advantage allowed the team to preserve its narrow lead until the final whistle.
The second friendly match between Hungary and Uzbekistan will take place on 19 September after a one-day break.
The match is scheduled to start at 19:00 Tashkent time.
