Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Cyril Gou, representative of the French Ministry of the Interior in Uzbekistan, has begun his work in Tashkent after being appointed responsible for coordinating cooperation between the French ministry and law enforcement agencies in Central Asian countries.

On 17 September, he met with the leadership of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan. The meeting was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, Cyril Gou highlighted the importance of his work in Tashkent for further developing cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan and France.

The sides discussed further expanding cooperation between the two ministries. In particular, they addressed professional training for personnel, mutual exchange of experience and the organization of high-level visits.

The participants agreed to intensify interaction and continue joint work to strengthen the existing ties.

At the end of the meeting, representatives of the leadership of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan wished Cyril Gou success in his work.
