Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Tashkent’s Pakhtakor suffered a heavy 6-2 defeat to Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr in the fourth round of the 2026/2027 AFC Champions League Elite. The visitors secured their second consecutive win in the competition.
Portuguese forward Joao Felix was the standout performer, scoring twice and contributing to several of his team’s attacking moves. Abdullah Al-Hamdan, Abdulelah Al-Amri, Abdulrahman Ghareeb and Angelo also scored for Al Nassr. Flamarião and Dostanbek Khamdamov found the net for Pakhtakor.
Al Nassr, who played without Cristiano Ronaldo, took the lead in the 15th minute. Felix set up Al-Hamdan, who beat two defenders before sending the ball past Pakhtakor goalkeeper Vladimir Nazarov.
Two minutes later, the visitors doubled their lead. Felix capitalised on a defensive mistake by the Tashkent side, dribbled past Muhammadrasul Abdumajidov and finished with an accurate shot.
Pakhtakor appeared to pull one back in the 25th minute through Akmal Mozgovoy, but the goal was ruled out for offside following a video review.
Felix scored his second goal in the 32nd minute. After Sadio Mane advanced down the left flank, the Portuguese forward struck at goal, and an error by Nazarov allowed the ball to cross the line.
Pakhtakor responded in the 36th minute. Sherzod Nasrullaev delivered a cross from the left, which Flamarião converted. Following a VAR review, the goal was allowed to stand, reducing the deficit.
Al Nassr continued to control the match after the break. In the 53rd minute, Al-Amri met Felix’s corner with a header, directing the ball into the bottom corner.
Nine minutes later, Ghareeb extended the visitors’ lead after receiving a pass from Mane. Pakhtakor scored again in the 75th minute when Dostanbek Khamdamov capitalised on a mistake by defender Inigo Martinez, beat him and chipped the ball over goalkeeper Bento Krepski, who had come off his line.
The final goal came in the 79th minute. Al-Hamdan delivered the ball to the far post, where Angelo sent it into the net.
Al Nassr thus secured a 6-2 victory, while Pakhtakor extended its winless run in the competition to four matches.
