Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s Neftchi drew 2-2 with Iran’s Tractor in the fourth round of the 2026/2027 AFC Champions League Elite league stage. Both teams scored in second-half stoppage time, with the Fergana-based club conceding an equaliser in the closing minutes after taking the lead.
The match was played in Muscat. Neftchi took the initiative from the opening minutes and created a dangerous opportunity in the fifth minute. Following a cross from Ibrokhimkhalil Yuldoshev, Aslibek Zhumaev shot at goal, but Tractor goalkeeper Parsa Jafari saved the attempt. He also stopped Marcus Forss’s follow-up effort.
The Uzbek side continued to create chances. Jhurani Ferreira and Alisher Odilov failed to hit the target, while Jafari again saved a shot by Jan Sasse from the edge of the penalty area.
After the break, the Iranian club became more active in attack. A long-range effort by Amirhossein Hosseinzadeh was comfortably handled by Neftchi goalkeeper Botirali Ergashev.
Neftchi opened the scoring in the 55th minute. Abrorbek Ismoilov beat defender Shoja Khalilzadeh to a pass from Michel and sent the ball across the penalty area. Stipe Perica, who had recently come on as a substitute, converted from close range.
Tractor were reduced to 10 men in the 61st minute when Farshad Faraji received a straight red card for dangerous play with a high boot that struck Bojan Ciger in the face.
Despite their numerical advantage, Neftchi failed to extend their lead. Perica missed another opportunity, while Jafari saved a further dangerous effort from Sasse.
Tractor equalised in the 82nd minute. Hosseinzadeh beat two opponents before setting up Tomislav Strkalj, who chipped the ball over Ergashev.
Neftchi regained the lead in stoppage time. In the fourth added minute, Vladimir Jovovic scored with a long-range shot.
However, the Iranian side found another equaliser in the closing moments. In the ninth minute of added time, Masoud Zaer Kazemain scored Tractor’s second goal to make it 2-2.
