Ferghana Medical Institute of Public Health to be created in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 3 December 2020, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev adopted a resolution "On the establishment of the Ferghana Medical Institute of Public Health". This was reported by the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Health.
According to the document, the decision is aimed at training qualified personnel with higher education, highly qualified in the areas of health care, sanitary and epidemiological well-being and public health, further improving the system of professional development of workers, providing medical organizations with competent specialists, including primary health care institutions.
The institute will train doctors of a narrow specialty for health care institutions, as well as for sanitary and epidemiological welfare and public health.
The document stipulates to take measures to revise and approve, in the prescribed manner, the programs of subjects of the corresponding areas of education and specialties, with the study of advanced foreign experience and taking into account the proposals of the organizations that order the personnel, an objective assessment of the effectiveness of the management system and the conditions created for professors-teachers, the effectiveness of the educational - educational methods in the learning process.
Also, training will be conducted on the basis of joint educational programs and academic mobility programs in cooperation with foreign medical universities.
Ferghana Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital is defined as the clinical base of the institute.
