Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — An Uzbek citizen who had been in Yekaterinburg for several months without accommodation or funds was returned to Uzbekistan with assistance from the Migration Agency.

After receiving information about his situation, employees of the Migration Agency’s representative office located the man and provided him with the necessary assistance, the agency said.

In coordination with the Consulate General, a document required for his return to Uzbekistan was issued and an air ticket was purchased.

The Uzbek citizen was returned home on 10 September, the Migration Agency said.

The agency urged citizens who find themselves in difficult situations abroad to seek assistance in a timely manner. The Migration Agency can be contacted around the clock at the short number 1282.
