Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran, led by the agriculture minister, visited an industrial berry farm in Tashkent District as part of the Uzbek-Iranian agricultural business forum, the press service of the Tashkent Region hokimiyat said.
The Iranian delegation visited a 12-hectare farm owned by VERY BERRY LLC, located within the Gishtkoprik Agro facility in the Mustakillik mahalla.
During the visit, the delegation learned about blueberry cultivation. The crop is grown using seedlings imported from Türkiye and European countries, applying modern approaches to industrial horticulture.
The sides discussed agricultural production, the introduction of modern agrotechnologies, the exchange of practical experience and efforts to expand export potential.
Particular attention was given to prospects for new joint projects between entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and Iran.
The discussions focused, in particular, on cooperation in horticulture, greenhouse farming and the export of agricultural products.
