Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — IT Park Ventures and Kyrgyz venture fund We Fund Ventures have signed a memorandum on cooperation and the exchange of investment opportunities. The agreement was signed on 22 September in Tashkent as part of ICT WEEK Uzbekistan 2026, IT Park Uzbekistan said.
The memorandum provides for the mutual exchange of promising investment deals and startup projects, joint consideration of investment opportunities and the development of co-investment cooperation.
The sides intend to focus particular attention on technology startups in the creative industries. Priority areas include artificial intelligence-based solutions for content production, media services, gaming technologies and digital platforms.
The partnership is expected to expand opportunities for startups from Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries to attract investment, gain industry expertise and enter international markets.
We Fund Ventures describes itself as the first venture fund established in Kyrgyzstan. The fund has a stated size of US$10 million. Of this amount, US$5 million is planned for financing film projects and developing production infrastructure, while another US$5 million will be invested in technology startups in the creative industries.
The fund views Central Asia as a single market for talent and production opportunities and invests in projects from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other countries in the region.
IT Park Ventures Director Dalerkhon Nodirov said the cooperation would expand the exchange of investment projects and joint support for technology companies in Central Asia. He said the intersection of technology and creative industries has particular potential.
We Fund Ventures Managing Partner Timur Tilenov said the partnership with IT Park Ventures would combine expertise and investment opportunities to identify promising early-stage teams and help them scale beyond the region.
The memorandum also provides for further exchanges of startup projects, the search for joint investment opportunities, participation in industry initiatives and the development of international connections for Central Asian founders.
We Fund Ventures’ first public initiative will be the Build Global — Osh edition hackathon, which will take place in Osh on 8–11 October 2026 under the slogan “Think Global. Build Global.”
Participants will develop products with international potential, work with mentors and present their solutions to potential investors.
