Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan Airways and Dubai-based airline Flydubai have signed an interline agreement linking the carriers’ route networks and expanding travel options through Dubai and Tashkent, the airlines said.
Uzbekistan Airways passengers will gain access to more than 40 Flydubai destinations via Dubai. Flydubai passengers will be able to continue their journeys through Tashkent on Uzbekistan Airways flights to destinations in Uzbekistan, Russia and Europe.
From 21 September 2026, connecting flights via Dubai will be available on the official Uzbekistan Airways website. These will include destinations not previously part of the airline’s network, including Addis Ababa, Nairobi and Zanzibar. Passengers will also be able to travel to Amman, Bahrain, Doha, Pisa, Naples, Muscat, Salalah and Male.
For Flydubai passengers, the new options will be available from 15 September. Through Tashkent, they will be able to continue their journeys to the Russian cities of Irkutsk and Krasnoyarsk, as well as Frankfurt, London, Milan, Munich, Paris and Rome. The Uzbekistan Airways network will also allow Flydubai passengers to reach Bukhara, Ferghana and Urgench via Tashkent.
Under the interline agreement, passengers will be able to purchase a single ticket for the entire journey and check their baggage through to the final destination. The option to issue a single boarding pass for all segments of a journey will be added later.
Shukhrat Khudaykulov, chairman of the board of Uzbekistan Airways, said the agreement would link the two airlines’ route networks, expand the choice of destinations and make international travel more convenient.
Flydubai Chief Executive Officer Ghaith Al Ghaith said the partnership would expand travel opportunities between the UAE and Uzbekistan. He said the airline had seen steady demand for travel between the two countries since launching flights to Tashkent in 2019.
Flydubai’s current network includes more than 125 destinations in 56 countries. The airline’s fleet consists of more than 95 Boeing 737 aircraft.
Sales for the new destinations will begin on 15 September through Flydubai and on 21 September on the official Uzbekistan Airways website.
