Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from Uzbekistan's Ferghana Region, led by regional governor Khairullo Bozorov, has arrived in Saudi Arabia on a working visit focused on investment cooperation and joint projects.
The visit's programme includes meetings in Riyadh with representatives of Saudi Arabia's official circles and company executives. The main focus will be on developing investment ties and implementing joint projects, according to the programme outlined for the visit.
Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia are developing cooperation in political, trade, economic and investment affairs. Mutual visits and high-level meetings contribute to strengthening bilateral relations.
Saudi Arabia is also among the largest investors in Uzbekistan's economy.
The two countries cooperate at international forums, including within the framework of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.
