Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan and Romania have agreed to expand cooperation in civil aviation and flight safety.

A memorandum of understanding was signed on 30 September 2026 by the Uzaviatsiya Agency and the Romanian Civil Aviation Authority on the sidelines of the III International Air Cargo Europe Summit.

The document provides for the development of cooperation between the two countries in flight safety and state oversight of civil aviation.

The memorandum establishes a basis for further cooperation between the aviation authorities of Uzbekistan and Romania on issues related to ensuring safety and exercising state control in civil aviation.
