Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan is participating in AYMOD 2026, an international exhibition dedicated to the footwear industry, leather goods and related sectors, which opened in Istanbul on 7 October. The Uzbek delegation is headed by Aliyor Latipov, acting chairman of the Uzcharm sanoat association.

The delegation includes around 20 entrepreneurs representing Uzbekistan’s leather and footwear industry. In addition, approximately 10 Uzbek companies are showcasing their products at individual exhibition stands.

Participation in AYMOD gives Uzbek businesses an opportunity to present domestic products to an international audience, establish new business contacts and seek partners abroad.

One of the main objectives is to expand export opportunities for companies in the leather and footwear sector and promote their products in foreign markets.

AYMOD 2026 will run until 10 October.
