Yogurt Production in Uzbekistan Increases by 25% Over Five Months

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Between January and May 2025, large enterprises in Uzbekistan produced 2,775.4 tons of yogurt, marking an increase of 563 tons or 25.4% compared to the same period last year, according to the National Statistics Committee.

In recent years, yogurt production volumes have shown steady growth. While 2,290 tons were produced from January to May in 2023, the figure slightly declined to 2,212.4 tons in 2024.

This year’s results indicate a significant recovery and upward trend in the industry compared to previous years.
