Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Representatives of Uzbekistan's Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry took part in the CPHI Shenzhen 2026 international pharmaceutical exhibition, held on 16–18 September in the Chinese city of Shenzhen, the agency said.
As part of the event, the Uzbek side held meetings with pharmaceutical companies and industry representatives from China and other countries.
During the talks, issues of production localisation, technology transfer, the creation of joint ventures, the implementation of new production projects and cooperation in scientific research were discussed.
Foreign companies were also presented with the investment opportunities of Uzbekistan's pharmaceutical industry. The two sides discussed promising projects and a possible transition to their practical implementation.
CPHI Shenzhen 2026 was held at the Shenzhen Exhibition Centre and covered a wide range of areas of the pharmaceutical industry, including the production of medicines, biotechnology, pharmaceutical equipment, the intellectualisation of production and laboratory technologies.
Uzbekistan's participation in the exhibition served as a platform for expanding contacts with international participants in the pharmaceutical market and discussing new forms of practical and investment cooperation.
