Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s Centrum Air will launch twice-weekly regular flights on the Tashkent–Hyderabad–Tashkent route from 28 September 2026, Dunyo news agency reported.
The new route was presented in Hyderabad with the participation of the Embassy of Uzbekistan, Centrum Air representatives and more than 120 representatives of Uzbekistan’s and India’s tourism and business communities.
The event highlighted the development of Uzbek-Indian relations and their advancement to the level of comprehensive strategic partnership.
Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to India Sardor Rustambayev said the launch of direct air services between Tashkent and Hyderabad was a practical implementation of agreements reached during the Indian prime minister’s visit to Tashkent on 29–30 August.
The new flights will operate twice a week using Airbus A320neo aircraft. Hyderabad will become the second Indian city in Centrum Air’s network after New Delhi.
Participants in the presentation were also introduced to Uzbekistan’s tourism opportunities, hotel infrastructure and recreational destinations. It was noted that the number of tourists from India visiting Uzbekistan has increased several-fold over the past five to six years.
The event concluded with bilateral B2B meetings between representatives of the tourism industries of the two countries.
Indian companies expressed interest in further expanding cooperation with Uzbek partners and reached relevant agreements.
