Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan's futsal team lost 5-2 to Hungary in the second friendly match of their European tour.
The match took place on 19 September at the Aramis sports hall.
Uzbekistan began the game actively and opened the scoring first. Abror Akhmedzyanov struck in the 6th minute. However, a minute later Mate Kovacs restored parity.
In the second half of the first period, the Hungarian team seized the initiative. In the 15th minute, Mate Janos Szucsak put the hosts ahead, and then Zoltan Szalmas and Magyari Csaba increased the lead. At the start of the second half, Matyas Kajtar scored Hungary's fifth goal.
Uzbekistan could respond with only one goal — Behruz Samiev struck in the 39th minute. The final score was 5-2 in Hungary's favour.
The teams therefore exchanged wins over the two friendly matches. In the first meeting, Uzbekistan won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Ilkhomjon Khamroev.
After the matches in Hungary, Uzbekistan's team will continue its European tour in the Netherlands.
Two friendly matches with the Netherlands national team are scheduled for 21 and 22 September.
