Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan has announced plans to launch new international bus routes to Russia, China, and Central Asian countries.
To achieve this, the ministry intends to attract domestic carriers in partnership with foreign companies.
According to the plans, new routes to Kazakhstan will connect Bukhara with Turkestan, Urgench with Aktau, and Fergana with Almaty through Tajikistan.
Passenger services to Kyrgyzstan will also be developed, including routes from Andijan to Osh, Jalal-Abad, and Arslanbob, from Kasansay to Jalal-Abad, and from Bukhara to Bishkek.
Additionally, direct flights from Samarkand and Bukhara to Dushanbe will be organized, and passengers from Nukus will be able to travel to Urumqi, China, via Urgench and Bukhara.
As part of the new routes, flights from the Surkhandarya region to Moscow are also planned, with intermediate stops in Bukhara, Urgench, and Nukus.
Furthermore, buses will operate from Nukus and Tashkent to Ufa and Krasnodar.
