Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Vingradny Sad eco-tourism complex, established in the Yangi Hayot area of Asaka district, Andijan Region. The 192-hectare complex combines the natural landscape with tourism infrastructure, the press service of the President of Uzbekistan reported.
The project was implemented on the instructions of the head of state at the initiative of the Agency for the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex. The complex is located on elevated ground offering panoramic views of the district.
Four modern capsule-style houses and five yurts in the national style have been installed for visitors. Decorative and coniferous trees have been planted across 30 hectares. The site also features a family restaurant and various attractions, while a modern lighting system has been installed for evening hours.
Special attention was paid to preserving the natural environment and using resources efficiently during the development of the complex. A membrane reservoir with a capacity of 14,000 cubic meters has been built, while trees and plants are fully irrigated through a drip irrigation system.
The total project cost is 51.8 billion soums. The project has created 275 permanent and 200 seasonal jobs for local residents. The complex also includes plans to export grapes grown in the vineyard.
Once operating at full capacity, the complex is expected to generate 80 billion soums in annual services. Local budget revenues are projected at 3 billion soums per year.
The Vingradny Sad complex is scheduled to be fully launched by the end of 2026. It is expected to become one of Andijan Region’s tourism destinations.
During his visit, the head of state met with regional representatives and labor veterans over a dastarkhan. The meeting addressed developments in Andijan, the creation of new opportunities to improve people’s well-being, mahalla improvement and efforts to realize the potential of young people.
A cultural program and a drone show were also organized for the participants.
