Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — On 22 September 2025 in Amman, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bahromjon Aloev held talks with Jordan’s First Deputy Minister of Culture Nidal Ibrahim Al-Ahmad.

The meeting focused on the joint implementation of cultural initiatives outlined in the “Roadmap” signed following the state visit of King Abdullah II of Jordan to Uzbekistan in August this year.

Special attention was given to expanding cultural and humanitarian cooperation, including organizing cross-cultural Days of Culture, handicraft exhibitions, tourism presentations, conferences, and participation of representatives from both countries in various cultural events.

The parties also emphasized the importance of developing people’s diplomacy as a key tool to strengthen friendship and deepen mutual understanding between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Jordan.
