Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea Han Son Suk in Seoul to discuss further strengthening the countries’ special strategic partnership, the Uzbek presidential press service said.
The meeting focused on developing cooperation in trade, the economy, investment, technology and transport.
The sides also discussed prospects for expanding innovation and technological cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting covered opportunities for partnership in trade, financial and investment cooperation, the digital economy and cybersecurity.
The sides also considered cooperation in processing critical minerals using advanced Korean technologies and Uzbekistan’s resource base.
Other areas discussed included transport, railway infrastructure and the further development of interregional ties.
