Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from Uzbekistan’s Ferghana Region, led by Governor Khairullo Bozorov, visited the AMKODOR-LESMASH plant in Logoisk, Minsk Region, Belarus, the regional administration’s press service reported.
During the visit, the delegation learned about the production of specialised machinery for forestry and logging and discussed opportunities for industrial cooperation.
AMKODOR-LESMASH LLC is part of the Belarusian engineering holding company AMKODOR. The plant manufactures harvesters used for felling trees, delimbing and cutting trunks into logs of specified lengths, as well as forwarders designed to transport harvested timber.
The production process uses automated control systems, modern engineering solutions and advanced equipment. According to the company, these technologies help increase the mechanisation of forestry operations and labour productivity while reducing production costs.
The plant produced 80 units of specialised machinery in 2025. It plans to increase output to 120 machines in 2026.
The company also intends to expand its production capacity in the future.
During the visit, the delegation toured the plant’s production facilities, examined its manufacturing processes and viewed finished products.
The two sides also exchanged views on prospects for industrial cooperation in the machinery sector in Ferghana Region, the potential use of specialised equipment and the application of experience gained by Belarusian manufacturers.
