President of Uzbekistan starts official visit to Qatar

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov arrived in Doha, Qatar, on 23 November on the invitation of Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani.

The official events of the visit will start on 24 November. During the visit, issues of expansion of Uzbekistan-Qatar cooperation, as well as important problems of regional and international character representing mutual interest will be considered, UzA reported.

On the results of the talks, signing of a number of bilateral documents, aimed at deepening the interaction of the two states in various areas, is expected.
