Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A Presidential Resolution "On measures to further improve the system of providing specialized medical care in the health sector" was adopted.
According to the resolution, from 1 October 2021, the procedure for issuing orders based on a quota of the privileged category of persons in 14 public medical institutions will be canceled, and an electronic information system for registering and referring these persons for treatment in order of priority based on a new financing mechanism is being introduced.
From 1 January 2022, medical services provided by scientific and practical medical centers of cardiology, traumatology, orthopedics and obstetrics and gynecology will be allowed to be provided by non-governmental medical organizations to persons belonging to the privileged category.
Orders that have already been issued in accordance with the current order issuance procedure can be used until 1 January 2022.
From 1 January 2022, the procedure for registering and treating the privileged category of persons in 13 state medical institutions, in order of priority, through an electronic information system, is being introduced.
From 1 October 2021, a financing mechanism for specialized institutions will be introduced on the basis of agreements concluded with the State Health Insurance Fund at basic prices.
From 1 August 2021, a monthly supplement of 25 percent will be established to the official salary of doctors, middle and junior medical workers of palliative care departments of oncology, oncohematology and hematology institutions for especially dangerous working conditions that harm their health.
From 1 January 2022, in stages, on the basis of 46 maternity wards of district (city) medical associations, inter-district perinatal centers will be created.
Until 1 September 2021, a single short digital free "hot line" will be established throughout the republic, designed to receive applications, consultations and provide information on the provision of medical services to the privileged category of persons.
