Voters in Uzbekistan start to receive invitations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Voters in Uzbekistan started to receive invitations to the upcoming presidential elections, which will be held on 4 December 2016.

According to UzA, the invitation, which will be handed over to each voter, has new look compared to previous ones.

The invitation is printed on the paper of A5 format. The invitation includes excerpt from the article 31 of the law “On elections of the President of Uzbekistan”, which says that each voter should cast vote personally and it is not allowed to vote for other person.

For the first time, the invitation will include names of candidates and which party they represent.

The presidential elections in Uzbekistan will be held on 4 November and it is expected that over 21.4 million citizen will cast their votes.
