Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbek companies in the food, textile and electrical industries have reached agreements to expand exports to European markets during business missions and the Made in Uzbekistan Road Show in France and Poland, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade said.

The events were held from 21 to 26 September. In France, the Uzbek delegation visited Chanel and the Rungis wholesale and logistics center, where the sides discussed prospects for cooperation.

The meetings resulted in agreements on training Uzbek specialists, organizing exports of raisins and arranging the first shipment of copper products from ICG.

In Poland, participants in the Made in Uzbekistan Road Show and B2B meetings explored opportunities to develop new channels for storing, distributing and promoting Uzbek products on European markets.

The talks resulted in agreements to export frozen cherries, raisins, ready-made garments, as well as copper and cable products.

The business missions provided a platform for establishing new business contacts and expanding the presence of Uzbek companies in European markets.
