Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — An internal inquiry has been launched at a private medical facility in Angren after information circulated on social media about a patient’s deteriorating health following medical treatment, the Tashkent Region Health Department said.
The case has been placed under the control of the regional health authorities. A working group has been established and an internal inquiry has been ordered to conduct a comprehensive and objective review of the situation.
With the involvement of relevant specialists, the authorities will examine the quality of medical care provided to the patient, the treatment process and the causes of the incident.
Following the inquiry, the circumstances of the case will be given a legal and medical assessment. Additional information will be provided after the review is completed.
