Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The volume of market services provided in Uzbekistan reached 908.6 trillion soums in January–August 2026. In real terms, the indicator increased by 17% compared with the same period last year, according to Uzbekistan’s National Statistics Committee.
Trade services accounted for the largest volume at 214.0 trillion soums. Accommodation and food services ranked second, reaching 173.2 trillion soums.
Financial services amounted to 144.7 trillion soums, while transport services reached 141.7 trillion soums. Services in communications and information technology totalled 71.4 trillion soums over the eight-month period.
The remaining types of services accounted for the following volumes: other services — 44.6 trillion soums; education services — 30.7 trillion soums; and real estate-related services — 22.3 trillion soums.
The volume of personal services amounted to 16.3 trillion soums, while healthcare services reached 16.0 trillion soums.
In addition, services in architecture, engineering surveys, technical testing and analysis totalled 12.7 trillion soums in January–August. Computer and household goods repair services amounted to 10.7 trillion soums, while rental services reached 10.3 trillion soums.
