Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Turkish Bademli cooperative is interested in developing nursery farming projects in Uzbekistan’s Ferghana region, including the cultivation of high-yielding fruit varieties aimed at export markets.
Ferghana Region Governor Khairullo Bozorov held a meeting with a delegation from Bademli led by Chairman of the Board Khurshit Nalli to discuss prospects for cooperation in agriculture and the implementation of new projects.
Particular attention was paid to the development of nursery farming. The discussions covered the cultivation of high-yielding and export-oriented fruit varieties, the import of planting materials and the introduction of modern technologies.
Bozorov noted that the region has the necessary conditions and opportunities to implement such projects.
Representatives of Bademli presented proposals based on the cooperative’s many years of experience. In particular, the Turkish side proposed establishing modern laboratories, organizing training for qualified specialists and developing nursery farming on a scientific and systematic basis.
The Ferghana region governor expressed readiness to support promising initiatives.
Following the meeting, the sides reached agreements to continue cooperation in this area.
