Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Bukhara Region is considering expanding the use of modern agricultural machinery, including cotton harvesters. The modernization of the agricultural sector was discussed by Bukhara Region Hokim Botir Zaripov and representatives of FM WORLD, the regional hokimiyat’s press service reported.
The meeting was attended by FM WORLD General Director Zhu Linjun and the company’s Service Director in Uzbekistan Hua Yingjun.
The talks focused on mechanizing cotton harvesting and introducing modern technologies into the region’s agricultural sector. The sides discussed the potential use of cotton harvesters to increase productivity and improve the organization of the harvesting campaign.
The technical specifications of the proposed machinery, delivery terms for Bukhara Region, subsequent servicing and the supply of necessary spare parts were also considered.
Following the meeting, the sides agreed to further assess opportunities for the effective use of modern agricultural machinery in the region.
They also agreed to continue cooperation on the potential purchase of cotton harvesters and identify specific measures for further work in this area.
