Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister meets President of South Korea

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) —  Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol.

The Uzbek Foreign Minister is in Seoul to participate in the “Central Asia – Republic of Korea” forum.

President Yoon Suk Yeol held a meeting with the foreign ministers of Central Asian countries.

Bakhtiyor Saidov conveyed sincere greetings from Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the South Korean leader.

“The Republic of Korea is a long-standing and special strategic partner of Uzbekistan. Our leaders have opened a new chapter in comprehensive relations, which are developing with unprecedented momentum,” the minister noted.

The parties discussed prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation between Central Asia and Korea.
