Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation of officers from Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs is taking advanced training courses in Türkiye aimed at strengthening professional training and studying modern working methods, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan reported.
As part of the visit to the General Directorate of Security of Türkiye, which operates under the Turkish Ministry of Interior, Uzbek specialists are studying the experience and working practices of their Turkish counterparts.
The training places particular focus on combating smuggling and organized crime. Participants are learning methods for identifying smuggling channels, approaches to combating organized crime and modern practical tools used in these areas.
The knowledge and experience gained during the courses are expected to be used to improve the effectiveness of further work by Uzbekistan’s Interior Ministry officers in the relevant areas.
The courses are also aimed at further developing the professional knowledge and practical skills of officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.
