Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed the activities of the Sokin savdo servis poultry cluster in Balykchi district during his visit to Andijan Region, the press service of the President of Uzbekistan reported.
The cluster was established in 2010. Its structure currently includes five poultry farms in Andijan Region and three farms in Namangan Region. Poultry feed is produced at a facility in Tashkent Region.
Sokin savdo servis has established a full production cycle, covering feed production, poultry farming, slaughtering, processing, packaging and delivery of finished products to consumers. The meat processing complex is fully automated and meets high hygiene requirements.
The project is valued at US$29 million, with 417 people employed at the cluster’s facilities. The cluster currently raises 1.5 million broiler chickens. Its production capacity allows it to raise 8.2 million broilers and produce 20,600 tonnes of poultry meat annually.
The complex also has capacity to process 55,000 tonnes of chicken meat and semi-finished products annually. Its products comply with Halal, HACCP and ISO standards.
The cluster has been developing its breeding operations since the beginning of 2026. It currently keeps 25,000 breeding hens. The company plans to produce 7.6 million broiler chicks annually from the 9 million eggs obtained.
By the end of 2027, the company plans to launch a poultry waste processing line and introduce a multi-tier cage system for keeping birds. Total investment in the two projects will amount to US$10 million.
A proposal was also made to integrate idle and financially struggling poultry farms into a unified cooperative system with the cluster. According to calculations, this would restore 350–400 jobs and enable an additional 1.7 million birds to be raised.
The head of state was briefed on production processes, finished products and new projects planned to further develop the cluster.
