Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Uzbekistan Football Association discussed prospects for cooperation in football management and development with British football agency Blue Sky Sports.
The video conference was attended by representatives of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Management Efficiency Agency and Blue Sky Sports Director Richard Cresswell.
The participants discussed ways to improve the effectiveness of management in football and introduce international best practices.
Particular attention was paid to the development of young footballers at foreign clubs and academies, as well as improving modern project management mechanisms.
The sides also discussed the possibility of adapting British experience in football management and development to Uzbekistan’s conditions.
Potential areas of cooperation include the development of footballers and improving approaches to managing their professional careers.
The meeting was described as one of the steps toward introducing modern management approaches in Uzbek football and expanding international cooperation.
