Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Ferghana Region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov received a South Korean delegation led by Hansae Mobility Senior Executive Director Jeong Dae-won on 8 October.
The sides discussed the implementation of an investment project to manufacture automotive components in the region and further cooperation.
The Korean company representative provided an update on the project at the Kuvasay branch of the Kokand Free Economic Zone. The project’s investment volume is US$30 million.
At the first stage, the enterprise plans to create 140 new jobs. Once production reaches full capacity, the number of jobs is expected to increase to 250.
Production has already begun at the enterprise. At the same time, the company continues to expand cooperation with customers.
During the meeting, the sides discussed completing the project on schedule and to the required quality standards, fully launching production capacity and further developing cooperation.
The relevant officials were instructed to accelerate the construction work and ensure its high-quality completion.
Hansae Mobility representatives expressed their gratitude to the Ferghana Region leadership for the practical support provided as part of the investment project.
