Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A meeting of the joint Uzbek-Romanian commission on road transport issues was held in Bucharest (Romania).

At the meeting, the delegation of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan discussed with representatives of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Romania the development of the sphere of international freight transport by road and the creation of additional favorable conditions for national carriers in this process.

Following the meeting, the parties reached an agreement that from April 1, 2024, bilateral and transit transportation of goods will be carried out without the need to obtain permits.
