Uzbek taekwondo fighters win five medals in Iran

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Iran hosts a rating tournament Third WT President’s Cup - Asian Region, in which a team of Uzbekistan takes part. On the first competitive day, Uzbekistan’s athletes won five medals.

Nikita Rafalovich (-74 kg) won the bronze medal. Svetlana Osipova (+73 kg) won the gold medal of the tournament, and Charos Kayumova (-53 kg), losing in the final, clinched the silver medal.

Madina Mannopova (-49 kg) and Feruza Sodikova (-62 kg) became bronze medalists.

Competitions continue. Upon completion, our taekwondo fighters will perform in another rating tournament Fajr Open in Iran.
