Diyor Imamkhodjaev reappointed PFL Director-General
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Executive Committee of the Uzbekistan Professional Football League (PFL) unanimously reappointed Diyor Imamkhodjaev as Director-General for a new four-year term during a meeting on 19 August 2026. All eight members of the committee participated in the vote.
Imamkhodjaev's nomination was submitted to the Executive Committee on 17 August 2026 in a document signed by Uzbekistan Football Association President Bahodir Kurbonov.
During the session, all eight Executive Committee members reviewed the nomination. Committee members Odil Akhmedov and Alisher Yusupov voted remotely from Kuala Lumpur, while Elbek Samatov cast his vote remotely from Andijan.
Following the vote, the Executive Committee members unanimously approved Imamkhodjaev's candidacy. Under the decision, the incumbent PFL Director-General will continue to serve in his position for another four years, effective 19 August 2026.
