Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbek Foreign Minister Vladimir Norov received his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Tashkent, capital city of Uzbekistan, on 22 December 2009.

During the meeting, the sides noted that cooperation between two states are developing gradually and agreements between two presidents of the states serve legal base for that.

The sides discussed current state and perspectives of political, trade-economic and humanitarian cooperation, UzA reported.

The programme on the cooperation of foreign affairs ministries for 2010 was signed after the talks.

Lavrov also visited the University for World Economy and Diplomacy and got acquainted with university, educational process and system.
