Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — An earthquake measuring magnitude 3.9 occurred in Kyrgyzstan at 14:47:34 on 12 September. The tremors were felt in Uzbekistan's Andijan and Namangan regions, according to the Republican Center for Seismic Forecasting Monitoring under the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The earthquake's epicenter was located in Jalal-Abad, 251 km southeast of Tashkent. The focus was at a depth of 16 km.
In Andijan region, the tremors measured two points, with the epicenter located 49 km away. The earthquake was also felt at two points in Namangan region, 55 km from the epicenter.
The coordinates of the epicenter were 41.25° north latitude and 72.22° east longitude.
