Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Employees of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou held a meeting with Deputy General Director of Laplace Energy Technology Weian Sion, Dunyo news agency reported.
During the negotiations, issues of implementation of agreements reached on 20 November during the Uzbek-Chinese business forum held in Guangzhou were discussed, in particular, they discussed the implementation of a project for the production of equipment for solar energy systems in Uzbekistan.
The Chinese side highly appreciated the large-scale reforms implemented in Uzbekistan in recent years, including systematic work on the development of “green” energy. It was noted that the implementation of projects for the production of equipment for solar energy in Uzbekistan will be mutually beneficial.
“The cost of producing renewable energy in China is much cheaper than in other countries. Because 80 percent of the equipment is produced in China itself. Our company is ready to cooperate with the Uzbek side to conduct research and retrain specialists in this field,” he said. - Equipment and devices for generating solar energy last an average of 20 years. It is also important to improve the knowledge and skills of specialists in this field.”
As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached to organize subsequent negotiations to establish cooperation and a practical trip of a delegation of company representatives to our country.
