Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — IT Park Uzbekistan and Belarus’ High-Tech Park exchanged experience in developing technology ecosystems, supporting startups and attracting venture capital during a meeting held on 22 September as part of ICT WEEK Uzbekistan 2026.
The Belarus High-Tech Park delegation was led by Anna Ryabova, Head of the Secretariat of the HTP Supervisory Board. The talks were also attended by Marina Filipyuk, Head of the HTP International Cooperation and Digital Development Department, and Dmitry Mikulko, Head of the HTP Startup Centre.
IT Park Uzbekistan was represented by a delegation led by Lazizbek Khudaev, Director for Resident Relations.
The participants discussed IT park management models, infrastructure development and the creation of conditions for technology companies and startups to grow. Representatives of the two organizations shared practices for working with residents, startups, accelerators, investors and institutions supporting innovation.
Particular attention was paid to educational and acceleration programmes, pitch events and support for companies entering foreign markets. The participants also discussed ways to establish direct links between technology companies, investors and the expert community.
A significant part of the meeting focused on venture capital. The sides reviewed existing approaches to establishing investment mechanisms and funds, their operating principles, participant structures and practices for supporting technology projects.
The participants also exchanged experience in attracting international capital, investment and co-investment, including participation in investment rounds and support for companies at growth stages and when entering international markets.
The meeting provided a platform for professional exchange between the technology ecosystems of Uzbekistan and Belarus and enabled the sides to discuss practical approaches to developing startups, investment activities and technology entrepreneurship.
