Following the forum, the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Seattle and WDTA signed a framework memorandum of understanding. The document is aimed at promoting cooperation among experts, universities and companies in the two countries.

The sides also agreed to explore educational initiatives and opportunities to launch pilot projects involving Uzbekistan. The announcement did not specify the projects' content or implementation timelines.
