Three parties submit documents to registration of presidential candidates

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Three political parties of Uzbekistan submitted necessary documents to registration of candidates to the post of the President of Uzbekistan to the Central Election Commission on 21 October 2016.

According to CEC of Uzbekistan, authorized representatives of Democratic Party of Uzbekistan Milliy Tiklanish, People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan and Social-Democratic Party of Uzbekistan Adolat handed over necessary documents to the CEC for registration of the presidential candidates from their parties.

CEC will check the documents within seven days and issue a conclusion on provided documents to register candidates. The expert group was created to inspect validity of signatures.

Sarvar Otamuradov was nominated to the post of the President of Uzbekistan from Milliy Tiklanish, People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan – Hatamjon Ketmonov and Adolat – Nariman Umarov.
