Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Association of Insolvency Administrators of Uzbekistan has been re-registered as the Chamber of Insolvency Administrators as part of the implementation of Presidential Decree No. PF-78 dated 6 May 2026, the official Telegram channel covering insolvency matters reported.
The relevant order was signed by the Minister of Justice on 15 September. Under the decree, the Chamber was established on the basis of the Association of Insolvency Administrators and brings together all insolvency administrators on a membership basis.
In its new status, the Chamber will serve as a unified system of professional self-governance for insolvency administrators. Its main tasks include developing the professional activities of specialists, improving their qualifications and enhancing professional standards.
The organization will also work to develop self-governance mechanisms in the sector and improve the effectiveness of the institution of insolvency administrators.
The Chamber is the legal successor to the Association of Insolvency Administrators with respect to its rights and obligations.
The establishment of the Chamber in its new status has been described as one of the areas of reform in the insolvency sector. The organization is expected to contribute to the formation of a professional body of insolvency administrators and the development of a modern self-governance system in the field.
In its activities, the Chamber declares its commitment to the principles of the rule of law, professionalism, responsibility and openness.
