Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The prospects for cooperation with France in education, modern technologies and aviation were discussed at Tashkent State Transport University.
The meeting was attended by French Ambassador to Uzbekistan Walid Fouque and Gulnoza Ismailova, Chairwoman of the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation.
One of the topics was the possible extension for another year of a grant supporting the operation of the 3D EXPERIENCE centre established at the university. The centre serves as an educational platform for developing students’ practical knowledge and skills in digital technologies and engineering solutions.
The sides also focused on training specialists for the aviation industry. They discussed the possibility of providing five students from Tashkent State Transport University with grant-funded training at Airbus and France’s National School of Civil Aviation (ENAC).
ENAC specializes in training personnel for civil aviation. The institution offers programmes in aviation engineering, pilot training, air traffic management and other areas of the industry.
The participants also considered expanding educational and professional opportunities for students through cooperation with Airbus.
Following the talks, the sides agreed to focus on further practical steps to develop existing projects and implement the planned initiatives.
The continuation of cooperation is expected to contribute to the introduction of modern technologies into the educational process, expand international study opportunities for students and support the training of specialists for the transport and aviation sectors.
