Gas Cylinder Explodes at CNG Station in Andijan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A gas cylinder exploded while a car was being refuelled with methane at a compressed natural gas filling station in Andijan on 5 September at around 11:15 a.m. The incident occurred in the Andijan mahalla.

According to preliminary information, the cylinder installed in a Spark car exploded. The main damage was sustained by the rear of the vehicle, where the gas equipment was located.

Emergency services arrived at the scene following the incident and took the necessary measures to deal with its consequences.

No fire broke out at the gas filling station after the explosion. According to the available information, no civilians were injured in the incident.
