Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on 25 September received Long Yuxiang, chairman of the China International Cultural Communications Center, and Chang Hongtuo, founder of Hong Kong-based JDB Group. The Uzbek presidential press service reported this.
The meeting focused on further developing Uzbekistan-China relations as an all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership in a new era, as well as expanding cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
The parties noted the contribution of the China International Cultural Communications Center to the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and China. With its participation, a number of joint projects have been implemented in infrastructure, investment and green industry.
Particular attention was paid to the activities of JDB Group in Uzbekistan. The company's priority areas were identified as the development of modern urban, transport and industrial infrastructure, as well as projects in geology.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to accelerate the implementation of existing and new projects involving JDB Group.
