Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s national football team has moved up one place in FIFA’s online ranking following its victory over Iran.
The national team now ranks 59th, the press service of the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) reported.
Following the match against Iran, Uzbekistan added 6.83 points to its tally, allowing the team to improve its position in the ranking.
The friendly match was held in Ferghana on Thursday. Uzbekistan secured a 3-1 victory over Iran.
