Gulf to Build Over 100 Modern Gas Stations in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — More than 100 modern gas stations are planned to be established across various regions of Uzbekistan. The project is being implemented by the American company Gulf and provides for the development of gas station infrastructure in line with international standards, the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Uzbekistan reported.

Ministry officials held a meeting with Gulf representatives to discuss the creation of modern gas stations, the development of relevant infrastructure, and the implementation of international standards.

The parties paid special attention to design and construction requirements for gas stations, taking into account the growth of the fuel market and increasing consumer demand. The proposed standard designs provide for the use of modern technologies, enhanced safety requirements, reduced environmental risks, and the creation of conditions to offer modern services to consumers.

Gulf representatives noted the growing interest of foreign investors in developing Uzbekistan's fuel infrastructure amid market dynamics.

The sides also discussed studying international experience, adapting modern standards to conditions in Uzbekistan, and prospects for further cooperation.
